Hand selected and developed to its best
The story started in 1978, with Michel Van Tricht – cheese affineur and owner of two cheese shops, one at Fruithoflaan in Berchem and the other at Boomgaardstraat in Antwerp. He started to select the best cheeses from all over Belgium and mature them in eight different maturing cellars in the Antwerp city brewery De Koninck, where the wholesale business has been located since 2012. Nowadays, Frederick, Michel’s son has taken over the company and continues to select and age the cheeses as his father taught him, to develop the taste to its best, ready for your table.
