Locally grown, New Leaf Microgreens, have up to 9 times more vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and polyphenols in a smaller quantity than mature fully grown vegetables & greens. Rather than using hydroponic or aeroponic methods, New Leaf grows its products in a soil mixture developed over the past twenty years. The soil makes all the difference between New Leaf’s products and those from other vertical farms. Their superfood microgreens contain up to 83 nutrients. By comparison hydroponically grown plants contain from 9-20 synthetically added nutrients. New Leaf team water their plants twice a day and still use 95% less water than traditional methods. All New Leaf microgreens are grown without any pesticides, herbicides, chemical or synthetic fertilizers and have an impressive 7-9 days fridge life. They hand-cut microgreens before sunrise to capture maximum flavour and nutrition. All microgreens are carefully checked to ensure consistency, weight, and quality.
