The history started in 1930 with a man named Marcel Plantin. In 1986 Hervé Poron took over Plantin and grew its business significantly. 

Today, Hervé’s son Christopher Poron, who is just as passionate as his father about everything to do with truffles, is now continuing Hervé’s good work, along with Nicolas Rouhier.
